Reece Carpenter

Project Developer

Reece serves as a Project Developer with Hexagon Energy. She is a Central Oregon local who is responsible for the development of early-stage geothermal projects in the Pacific Northwest and Great Basin. 

Prior to joining Hexagon Energy, Reece spent a year teaching English in Austria under the Fulbright Program. Upon her return, she immediately began her energy career with the Department of Energy's Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations where she served as a Project Manager and Physical Scientist for the Industrial Demonstrations Program. In this role, she worked on a $6.3 billion portfolio of first-of-a-kind clean energy projects for hard-to-abate industries.

Reece graduated magna cum laude from Western Washington University, earning a B.S. in Energy Science and Technology, minoring in Energy Policy, as well as a B.A. in German.
