UTILITY SCALE SOLAR
Steward Creek Solar
1,200 MW | LEE COUNTY, IL
Steward Creek Solar is a 1,200 MWac solar project paired with 150 MW/600 MWh of battery storage located in Lee County, Illinois. Hexagon led development of the project, securing a Special Use Permit from the Lee County Board in November 2020 along with all required non-ministerial permits. The project has been sold to TerraForm Power, which will construct and operate the facility, with construction expected to begin in Q4 2026.
Casey Fork Solar
200 Mw | Jefferson COunty, IL
Casey Fork Solar is a 200 MWac solar project located near Texico, Illinois. Hexagon secured site control, filed the interconnection request, and completed early environmental studies before selling the project.
Woodridge Solar
138 Mw | Albemarle COunty, VA
Woodridge Solar is a 138 MWac solar project located in Albemarle County, Virginia. Hexagon secured two Special Use Permits for the project in Q2 2023 before its sale to Hanwha, where construction began in late 2025. Woodridge is committed to achieving Virginia Pollinator Smart certification, with pollinator-friendly meadows planted beneath the panel arrays.
Piney Creek Solar
80 MW | HALIFAX COUNTY, VA
Piney Creek Solar is an 80 MWac solar project located in Halifax County, Virginia. Constructed and operating since August 2023. The facility generates over $3.7 million in new local tax revenue and produces enough clean energy to power approximately 13,600 homes.

Marlow Solar
2 MW | JEFFERSON COUNTY, IL
Marlow Solar is a 2 MWac community solar project located in Jefferson County, Illinois. Selected through the Illinois Adjustable Block Program in the spring of 2019, it is one of the state’s first community solar projects built under the Future Energy Jobs Act. The project reached commercial operation in December 2020 and delivers power to Ameren Illinois, with subscriptions available to local customers.
Heron Crossing Solar
2 Mw | Norfolk COunty, mA
Heron Crossing Solar is a 2 MWac community solar project paired with 1 MW/2 MWh of battery storage in Stoughton, Massachusetts. Hexagon secured a Statement of Qualifications under the Massachusetts SMART program and carried the project through all required permits and approvals. The facility has been operating since 2023, delivering power to National Grid.
Old Frontier Solar III
2 Mw | Franklin COunty, mA
Old Frontier III Solar is a 2 MWac community solar project paired with 1 MW/2 MWh of battery storage in Deerfield, Massachusetts. Hexagon secured a Statement of Qualifications under the Massachusetts SMART program and carried the project through all required permits and approvals. The facility has been operating since 2021.

Springfield Solar is a 2 MWac solar project located in Westmoreland County, Virginia. Constructed and operating since 2024, the facility delivers power to Dominion Energy.
