Steward Creek Solar is a 1,200 MWac solar project paired with 150 MW/600 MWh of battery storage located in Lee County, Illinois. Hexagon led development of the project, securing a Special Use Permit from the Lee County Board in November 2020 along with all required non-ministerial permits. The project has been sold to TerraForm Power, which will construct and operate the facility, with construction expected to begin in Q4 2026.

Woodridge Solar is a 138 MWac solar project located in Albemarle County, Virginia. Hexagon secured two Special Use Permits for the project in Q2 2023 before its sale to Hanwha, where construction began in late 2025. Woodridge is committed to achieving Virginia Pollinator Smart certification, with pollinator-friendly meadows planted beneath the panel arrays.

Piney Creek Solar is an 80 MWac solar project located in Halifax County, Virginia. Constructed and operating since August 2023. The facility generates over $3.7 million in new local tax revenue and produces enough clean energy to power approximately 13,600 homes.

Marlow Solar is a 2 MWac community solar project that was selected as part of the Illinois Adjustable Block Program in the spring of 2019. Located in Jefferson County, IL, the project provides power to Ameren Illinois, which customers may subscribe to. Marlow Solar is one of the state’s first community solar projects built under the Future Energy Jobs Act and was completed in 2020.

Bay Branch Solar is a 5 MWac solar project located in Beaufort County, North Carolina. Hexagon was responsible for all aspects of development, including site selection, PPA negotiation, interconnection, and permitting. The project began operation in December 2018, providing all power to Duke Energy. The project will generate over 12.5 million kWh of renewable electricity each year, equivalent to the annual electricity usage of 1,250 homes.
Heron Crossing Solar is a 2 MWAC community solar plus storage (1MW/2MWh) project located in Stoughton, Massachusetts. The project was awarded a Statement of Qualifications under the Massachusetts SMART program. The project has received all required permits and approvals and is currently operational.
