Hannah Pauling

Project Geologist

Hannah Pauling is a Project Geologist at Hexagon Energy, supporting geothermal project evaluation and development through resource assessment, subsurface characterization, exploration strategy, and integration of multidisciplinary datasets.

Before joining Hexagon, Hannah was a Geothermal Researcher at the National Laboratory of the Rockies, where she worked on geothermal projects spanning enhanced geothermal systems (EGS), superhot and supercritical resources, direct-use geothermal, and power production. Her experience includes play fairway analysis, geothermal prospect screening and de-risking, conceptual model development, exploration data-gap analysis, and integration of geologic, geophysical, geochemical, well, GIS, and techno-economic data. She has supported geothermal field campaigns and research focused on volcanic and magmatic systems, including superhot geothermal exploration at Newberry Volcano, Oregon.

Hannah holds an M.S. in Geophysics and a B.S. in Geophysical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines.
