Daniel serves as the Director of Operations for Hexagon Energy. He is responsible for overseeing both financial and general operations of the business, including administering financial policies and reporting, coordinating audit and tax preparation, interpreting monthly operating results, supporting project development efforts, and managing operational vendors.

Prior to joining Hexagon, Daniel served as the Director of Cash Flow and Budgeting for Coronal Energy, where he supported executive-level strategic financial planning for the company's EPC, greenfield, and acquisition revenue channels, as well as its operating portfolio (300 megawatts). This included the development and management of a model used to forecast economics of the company's utility-scale development pipeline (4,000 megawatts). Prior to Coronal, Daniel lived in Heidelberg, Germany and worked as a business consultant to Solea Pinpoint Energy Gmbh, a German solar energy joint venture focused on developing turnkey utility-scale projects in southern India. Before solar, Daniel was an Analyst with The Carlyle Group where he managed financial models for 15 active real estate funds and co-investment vehicles with collective investor commitments of over $7 billion. He also worked as a Management Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Daniel holds a BBA in both Finance and Accounting from James Madison University, an MS in Accounting from the University of Virginia, and an ALM in Sustainability and Environmental Management from Harvard University, where he received the Dean's Academic Achievement Award. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
