Ally Kranz
Director of Development
Ally serves as a Director of Development for Hexagon Energy, where she leads stakeholder engagement, permitting, and project communications for the company's geothermal portfolio in the Pacific Northwest. She builds and maintains relationships with Tribal nations, county and state officials, economic development partners, landowners, and communities. She translates complex regulatory frameworks into clear permitting pathways as projects advance through exploration toward drilling.
Before moving into geothermal, Ally managed the development of solar and energy storage projects at Hexagon, overseeing site identification, early feasibility studies, community and landowner outreach, property leases, and permitting.
Ally brings nearly a decade of combined experience in environmental consulting and renewable energy. As an environmental planner at HDR Engineering, she specialized in NEPA field work and regulations, contributing to numerous high-profile transportation projects in the Intermountain West.
Ally graduated cum laude from the University of Colorado Boulder with a B.A. in Environmental Science and a minor in geology.
