Rylie Power
Transmission Planning Engineer
Rylie is the Transmissions Planning Engineer for Hexagon Energy. She is responsible for working directly with Hexagon’s development team to strategically identify ideal points of renewable energy interconnection. She modifies and utilizes power flow models to understand and predict the ever-
changing generation interconnection queues. Despite specializing in the MISO region, she interacts with RTO’s and ISO’s throughout the US.
Prior to Hexagon, Rylie spent a couple years working at AEP as a Regional and Economic Transmission Planner, and she spent a year at Invenergy as an Engineer on the Interconnection and Grid Analysis team. She has experience analyzing the effects of new generation has on the transmission system, a s well as how to predict potential network upgrades. She has and continues to work alongside developers to provide knowledge, guidance,
and create strategies for utility-scale interconnection projects in all major RTO’s and ISO’s in the US.
